Selecting The Right Kids Quad

Buying kids quads can be very rewarding but at the same time can be a very big headache if you have never had experience with ATV’s or quads. There are many different brands out there to choose from. The most known brands include Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha, and Polaris. There is also Chinese brands like Kazuma, Redcat, Hensim, Mini, and BMS.

The Chinese brands can be much cheaper than more known brands but that does come at a price. If anything ever breaks or wears out, it is going to be harder to find parts and service facilities. If you finally end up finding the parts and service, they could be charging a pretty penny for the stuff. If you have a little bit of mechanical knowledge, you can get kids quads parts that aren’t specifically made for those brands and make them work just to get it up and running again. Most of the time going with highly known brands usually pays off in the long run. I’m not saying the Chinese brands are bad but it will make having kids quads a little cheaper and easier for you if this is your first time.

Safety has to be one of the top priorities of selecting a kids quad. You have to make sure you don’t get a quad that has to much power for your child. A lot of the smaller CC(engine size) kids quads have a governor on them that limits the top speed. It might be a good idea to chose one of those quads. When your child grows up a little more you can remove the governor for a little more power and speed so you don’t have to buy another quad.

So, finding the right kids quad for you and your child can take some time. DON’T rush into anything and do your research on kids quads and you shall be happy with the outcome.
